Saturday was our Halloween Party. Our members came out to show just how fun loving they are. About 34 members and a few guests came out and everybody was in costume. We had some spectacular and creative costumes.

a leapord on a leash

a twister game

dancing with the stars

pirates and swashbucklers

a flapper with a long cigarette holder

a roman centurion with a very cool sword

some belly dancers / slave girls / sexy girls

a dominatrix with her man on a leash

A bumble bee with a viscous stinger

Tinker Bell

Renaisance Lady

Darth Vader

hula dancer

a witch with the 'Smart' model broom

a beautiful Mother Nature

a hippie

a cheerleader

a couple vampires

Rocky Horror's Dr. Frank N Furter (complete with pearls)

Lt. Dangle

an escaped convict

and of course ... a flasher

I'm sure I didn't remember everyone. We drank punch, ate stew and played games. We had a fun time trying to match nuts and bolts. Before I started going to nudist clubs I thought Halloween was just for kids. It sure is fun to dress up and take on a personna, no matter what your age.

Thank you to everyone who dressed up and competed for the prizes. Thank you to those who decorated and cooked and cleaned.

I hope to see everyone at the Christmas Party on December 12.

Phew! Where did the summer go. So busy having fun, I wasn't blogging. lol

I am on the guest committee and we had lots of visitors and approved several new members. I have also been on a committee to coordinate with a big new event on the week of Memorial Day 2010. This will be the Rolling Thunder with the Bare Buns Bikers. We have a lot of work to do to clear lots for more tents and campers.

I've been really enjoying walking my dogs on the trails in the woods. There are so many different kinds of mushrooms and they seem to change with the season. I'll bet that would be a good study for someone's doctorate or something. I also love the mosses. There are different kinds of mosses, too.

Now that it is getting cooler, there are several of us that want to get together. We are hoping to have some movie nights at the clubhouse. We still have the Halloween and Christmas parties and the workdays. They are always fun, too. For sure several of us will end up naked around a campfire, even in the cold.

This weekend we have the general membership meeting and then M & D are going to host a pizza party and Sock Hop. That's a new event, it should be a blast!

Summer has been in full swing! The weather has been beautiful and we have had three big and successfull events. So much going on that I have not had time to write about them.

Our July Fourth celebration was three days of fun. There were quite a few guests on Friday and Saturday. We had a pot luck on Saturday the fourth and spectacular fireworks at night.

July 11th was the AANR event to break the (Guinness Book of) world record for simultaneous skinny dippers. We contributed with 125 in the pool at the designated 3 pm with photos taken from a bucket truck. Fun!

July 18th we hosted our main fund raiser, the Bull Roast. It is so fun to see our propertiy appreciated by so many folks. Many come annually to join us and meet their MaHeSo friends. The band, Retro Deluxe, was a huge success. People were dancing and listening to the skilled musicians. Some were listening while floating in the pool. For those who preferred conversation, tables were located on the other side of the pool. Shoppers could buy hand made walking sticks, jewelry, wraps, MaHeSo wear, and beach blankets. Guests and members won Baskets of Cheer and the 50/50 raffles.

The food was served cafeteria style and it was delicious. A big favorite was the fresh corn on the cob. Thank you to members and guests who contributed the desserts. The dessert bar was plentiful.

A high point were the games, egg toss and pudding toss. What fun! There were many contestants and spectators. Winners received a MaHeSo visor.

However, there was a guest that we missed this year. The "Rolling Rock" man did not attend. If you are reading this we missed you! Hope you are well. Please come back next year!

That's just a peek at the fun we had at our annual Bull Roast. Join us for the 2010 event!

Today, our sister club, Pine Tree Assoc., came to visit us. About 35 members of Pine Tree arrived throughout the day and we enjoyed sharing our facilities. Some guests who had never been here before went on a walking tour with me. Several wanted to see our swinging bridge which was erected by an ambitious member a few years ago. On the way to the bridge we chatted with a member who is putting up a tipi to camp in!

The pool was warm and the day was hot and sunny. Folks were swimming, and strolling around the grounds, and reading in the shade and chatting with new and old friends.

Some of our guests were first time nudists and we hope we helped make their visit comfortable and enjoyable.

At 4 we had wine and cheese which brought us together in the pavilion.

A few guests stayed to enjoy the pot luck dinner. It being a lovely warm evening, most folks enjoyed their repast outside on our picnic tables.

Thank you to the members, M. and L. and P. for setting up the wine and cheese for us. And thank you to F. and M. for getting the wine and cheese.

Thank you to G. for mowing the property and to L. for the lovely landscaping around the clubhouse.

Thank you to all our guests from Pine Tree and others for visiting us. Come again!

A Wednesday at MaHeSo is quiet. When I was walking my dog this morning I met some members that were taking a walk to the river. Later in the day another member was working on the landscaping around his trailer. There were 2 or 3 people at the pool. It was a lovely day.
